During the last year hocem strengthened its market position and further developed its strategy, efficiency and portfolio.

We are pleased to announce that we entered into a cooperation with company Transnational Blenders B.V. / Gulf Oil Nederland B.V. in Dordrecht.

Starting from 1st January 2008 we are storing our goods at the tank terminal of TNB in Dordrecht. We are acting as supplier of TNB and organizing the supply of our own customers from there. The cooperation with TNB enables us to offer you an upgraded service, prices in the line with the market, advantageous storage of the goods and access to excellent terminal facilities.

Additionally hocem rented new storage capacities at terminal “UkrChem” in Reni, Ukraine and can offer you regular supplies from our shore tanks from terminals in

• Eastham, UK
• Dordrecht, The Netherlands
• Antwerp, Belgium

In January 2007 hocem launches its regular Newsletter containing latest information, news and background information for the base oil market. In regular intervals we will comment on interesting topics and latest news.

The newsletter will be available on our website www.hocem.com.

The decline in oil prices combined with difficult market circumstances made 2006 a challenging year. Nevertheless the Base Oil Business of Group 1 is still growing worldwide. Difficult markets however create a lot of opportunities in pricing, services, logistics and quality development.

The hocem development was stable. We offer our customers supplies from our own shore tanks in Tallinn, Eastham and Antwerp. By improving our product qualities hocem was approved as a regular supplier to some major oil companies. We take pride in our performance and the complete fulfillment of all commitments to our customers during 2006.

This year hocem sponsors for the second time the World Base Oil Conference 2007 in London. We welcome you to this event at the Hilton Park Lane Hotel and we are looking forward to high level speeches, inspiring discussions and of course to personal meetings.
